I never could have imagined how perfectly homeschooling would fit in our family. As we became more confident in our routine, I did notice the kids really craved community! I asked around but all the co-ops we heard about seemed overwhelming to us or too far of a drive. We didn’t want a drop off or anything that mimicked traditional school classes. We wanted to learn and experience hands-on together, somewhere mom (or dad) could have a little distance, but still be close enough to be available at any time. As a Mother of four when Nucleus was born, it was absolutely perfect. It almost seemed too good to be true. Busy moms, part time moms, stay at home moms who craved community as well with a place for us to be together that was laid back and friendly while all growing and learning together and looking forward to the next time we can all see each other again. We love the small community that Nucleus has grown into!
Nucleus has been a wonderful addition to our homeschool journey. We love the low pressure atmosphere and the opportunity to learn and grow. The activities and topics have been engaging and interesting for all of our learners (ages 6-12). Community time and game days are anticipated the most in our family! This is our first year being involved in a homeschool coop, and it has felt like the final piece in our homeschool puzzle.
